Team Fight to Walk’s Eric LeGrand won the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance yesterday evening at the ESPY Awards. Named after legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano, LeGrand was paralyzed after making a tackle against Army during a 2010 football game while playing for Rutgers.
LeGrand, an inspiration to people from all shapes, sizes and colors, stole the show with his speech. He also referenced Team Fight To Walk.
