Team Fight to Walk’s Will “Power” Rosinsky will have the chance to make major waves throughout the boxing world when he battles former undisputed middleweight champion Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik Saturday, July 7 on HBO.
Rosinsky, who is less than three days removed from a dominant victory over Aaron Pryor Jr, quickly agreed to face the former pound for pound rated star. The bout with Pavlik, who battered overmatched Scott Sigmon June 8 on Friday Night Fights, became available after Brandon Rios had to withdraw from his fight with Mauricio Herrera due to an injury.
Against Pavlik, 39-4 (34 KO’s), Rosinsky will undoubtedly face his toughest foe to date. In his lone defeat, a controversial decision on Showtime against highly-regarded Edwin Rodriguez, Rosinsky, 16-1 (9 KO’s), did enough to at least warrant a draw according to many ringsiders.
The Pavlik-Rosinsky bout takes place at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA and the telecast begins at 10 PM et.
